Mark your calendars! The third US Social Forum (USSF) will be taking place in Philadelphia June 25th – 28th, 2015 at Temple University and along American Street. The USSF is a convergence driven by the understanding that people’s movements are what create social change.

The Philadelphia US Social Forum is anchored by the Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign and Disabled In Action and will be rooted in the themes of immigration, political democracy, disability, poverty, and youth rights. As a movement we will create spaces for strategy discussions, political education, People’s Movement Assemblies, local actions, art and culture, convergences, movement schools, marches, housing takeovers, community building, healing, and collective empowerment.

One of the great strengths of the USSF organizing space and assembly process is its community-powered structure. However, the USSF will only be possible with the help of an upspring of grassroots support. Please consider making a donation or becoming a sponsor during these crucial remaining months leading up to the June 2015 US Social Forum in Philadelphia.

Have an awesome idea for a workshop or People’s Movement Assembly for the Philadelphia US Social Forum? Register and submit a proposal by May 22nd! Intersectional discussions, alliance-building, strategy mapping, cultural activities, healing spaces, and skill shares are all highly encouraged!
