Donate today to ensure that the new world that is necessary and possible is created in Detroit!

USSFThe Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign and the Poverty Working Group of the United States Social Forum (USSF) need your generous support to ensure that those groups and individuals who have been devastated by the US economic system continue their vitally important organizing and movement building work in Detroit at the US Social Forum this month (www.ussf2010.org/poverty). Their presence at the Forum is essential to build the long-term movement for economic justice which is led directly by the dispossessed of this nation, living in poverty in record numbers. Please help ensure they get there by donating today- thank you!

The US Social Forum is a movement building process for transformative social change. From June 22–26, 2010, the USSF will gather at Cobo Hall and Hart Plaza in Detroit, providing an open space for people and groups to blend their ideas and energy. We need our collective power to create solutions to the problems we’re facing across our many struggles, sectors and regions. Your contributions to the USSF Poverty Working Group/PPEHRC travel fund are essential to ensure that we can meet these organizing and building efforts and get these groups there!
