April 18th: Good Friday Stations of the Cross: Through Artists Eyes

April 22nd: Mother Earth Day

Join us for a discussion of the environmental crisis and hunger as we work on our urban farm & watch the Hunger Games movie

April 24: Faith & Justice

We will kick off an ongoing faith and justice book and movie discussion club surrounding the role of spirituality and faith in the movement for people, planet, and peace over profit.

April 26th: Youth Day

Join hundreds of youth for a rally and press conference to hear from victims of the school-to-prison pipeline, ex-offenders, and education activists about how they have been impacted by the school crisis.

Location: Juvenile Justice Service Center, 91 N. 48th Street | Time: 12pm


April 27th: Interfaith Walk for Peace & Reconciliation

A “walking dialogue” among Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, Taoists, Baha’i, Agnostics and others. Theme: Walking Side by Side on Sacred Ground, Celebrating Transformations

Location: Meet at Al Aqsa Mosque, 1501 Germantown Ave. | Time: 3-6pm

April 28th: End Homelessness

Join us on the day that the Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign intends to end homelessness. Come as we ensure that every woman and child has a place to sleep in Philadelphia on this day.

Location: Meet at the corner of Cherry St. & 15th St | Time: 1pm

May 1st: May Day Film Screening

Film screening of “Harvest of Empire: an untold story of Latinos in America”.

Location: Community College of PA, Room S2-3 of Winnet Student Life Building | Time: 6pm

May 3rd: May Day Rally & Family Celebration

Join hundreds of labor leaders, community members, organizations, environmentalists, immigrant rights activists, artists, and low-income families in the celebration of May Day.
